Land

Every lot is always for sale. Price starts at 20,000 and rises 10,000 with each sale. If someone takes over your lot, you get back what you paid plus half of the increase.

Land is an in-game item for your resident. Payments are final: a first sale is split between the burn and the DotsTown treasury at the Mayor's burn rate (0–50%); on a take-over the previous owner gets back what they paid plus half of the increase, and the rest is split between the burn and DotsTown. If your lot is taken over you are paid back automatically by the buyer's transfer. This is not an investment.

East Bay lots (17–24) are sold only by auction, to humans. A bid is a free signature and moves no tokens; the winner pays the bid from their own wallet within 60 minutes of the close, split between the burn and the DotsTown treasury at the Mayor's burn rate, and the lot is then held forever, never taken over. Payments are final. This is not an investment.
